All wrapped up
My awesome wife, Pip, learnt to wrap our race cars quite a few years ago and really does a great job making them look spot on. Both of us grew up in Australia and are still avid fans of the V8 Supercars series. For our AMCM car we chose to emulate the Kelly Bros Racing Castrol Mustang livery
Starting with the big panels (hood, deck lid & roof) the green was laid down. We used Avery Denison 900 color change wrap which we found far more user friendly than the 3M 1080 wrap we had used in the past.
We took the opportunity to host a wrap school led by Colin Goode for AMCM members, It was good to show other folks how much easier and less expensive wrap is compared to traditional paint
With the main green panels laid on, we added in the black accents and some of the AR Body decals
On top of the black and green we added in the white stripes with a 1/8” accent of 3M striping tape to give a better contrast between the white and green
With the main colors complete we laid on the AMCM and MDT decals and also the series required decals
